Prior to accepting the role of Acting Executive Director, Eileen has been involved with the HUB for three years. As a dedicated volunteer and contractor who often supports NGOs with administrative and financial guidance, she brings a wealth of knowledge about the challenges and successes of the Yukon’s NGO community.

As a long-time volunteer for many agencies including the Past-President and 12-plus years board member for Victoria Faulkner Women’s Centre, she brings extensive insight into the largest NGO sector (health/ social services) as well as the arts and cultural sectors.

Currently, Eileen is the Vice-President of the Ukrainian Canadian Association of Yukon (UCAY); Treasurer for the Yukon Learn Society; Vice-President for the Thrift Store Society, and a board member for Volunteer Bénévoles Yukon.

As a born-and-raised Yukoner, she leverages her contacts with First Nations and other potential partners plus lends her writing expertise for funding applications, fundraising events, and community engagement activities to the HUB Board.

Eileen appreciates how much the entire sector will benefit from the enhanced information sharing, networking, and collaboration led by the virtual and physical HUBs.

Along with other board members, she will lend her assistance to future staff and board members.
